Winner Declared in 4th District State Senate Race

Incumbent Philip Boyle (R) beat out challenger Lou D'Amaro (D).

LONG ISLAND, NY - Long Island residents got the chance to vote for the representative of New York's Fourth Senate District this Election Day.

Incumbent Philip Boyle (R) was challenged by Lou D'Amaro (D).

According to the unofficial results, with 224 out of 225 of the precincts in Suffolk reporting, Boyle took the lead with 50,224 votes while Shirley received 46,490 votes.
