Happily Ever After: Couple Has Baby And Wedding At Hospital
A local couple had to improvise after the birth of their baby interrupted their wedding plans.

STONY BROOK, NY - "First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage" -- but not for one Babylon couple whose baby literally interrupted their wedding day.
On June 22, expectant mother Regina Stoebe was ready to walk down the aisle to marry the love of her life, Mike Enrico.
However, their baby had other plans that day. The baby girl surprised the couple by coming into the world early at 29 weeks.

So instead of walking down the aisle Stoebe had to walk down the halls of Stony Brook University Hospital to deliver her daughter.
Despite missing her wedding, she delivered a healthy baby girl named Isabella Rose.

Knowing the couple was missing their wedding, Stoebe's doctor, Dr. Melissa Peskin-Stolze, suggested that the two get married right in the hospital.
They both loved the idea and wedding planning began!

One of the nurses got decorations from Party City and Michael's, and the staff made a beautiful bouquet for the bride and decorated the NICU so Isabella, who served as a flower girl, could be at her parents’ wedding.
Elizabeth Sullivan, a midwife at Stony Brook, who is also an officiant, legally married the couple the next day.
