All of the proceeds from the golf outing and boot camp class will support community members affected by breast cancer, organizers say.

BABYLON, NY — Whether you're a golfer or simply looking to get outside, Long Islanders can soon enjoy a summer day while giving back.

All of the golf outing proceeds will benefit the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition and the Women of West Islip.
Later that day, the coalition, in partnership with Total Body Boot Camp and Performance Center, will host "Give Cancer the Boot" workout fundraiser. The class will take place at Babylon Town Hall Park on the Great Lawn, located at 200 E Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The workout will be full body and include core training as well as cardio. Each exercise will have three levels of options, a press release said, so all fitness levels can participate.
Participants will pay a $20 fee and are encouraged to bring a towel or mat.
All of the boot camp's proceeds will benefit the coalition's Lend a Helping Hand program. Participants can call 631-893-4110 for more info or to pre-register. Walk-ins are also welcome.
