Man Arrested For Robbing 2 Babylon Village Businesses: Police
The man robbed a local chocolate shop and a tanning salon, according to police.

BABYLON VILLAGE, NY - A West Babylon man was arrested on Tuesday for robbing two Babylon Village businesses earlier this year, according to Suffolk Police.
Michael Riggs, 32, entered Kilwins at 130 Deer Park Ave. on Jan. 21 and demanded cash, police said.
Employees complied with his demand and he fled on foot.

Then on Feb. 15, he robbed the European Image Tanning and Sunless Center at 1 Park Ave., police said.
After a thorough investigation, Riggs was arrested at the intersection of the North Sunrise Service Road and Brookside Avenue in North Babylon at 5:55 p.m., police said.

He was charged with two counts of third robbery and two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Riggs will be held at the First Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
