Man Dies In Wyandanch House Fire Saturday: Police
He was alone in the home, police say.
BABYLON VILLAGE, NY — A man was killed in a Wyandanch house fire Saturday, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the fire took place at about 1:50 p.m. at a home on Cypress Street. After the fire was extinguished, a person was found deceased in the home, police said.
The identity of the man will be determined by an autopsy performed by personnel from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.

The man was alone inside the residence at the time of the fire and no one else was injured, police said.
At this time, detectives believe the cause of the fire to be non-criminal in nature, police said.
