Man Followed 2 Teen Girls, Attempted To Pull 1 Into Van: SCPD
The 59-year-old was charged with following two girls on two separate occasions, police say.

BABYLON, NY - A West Babylon man was arrested on Tuesday for following two girls on two separate occasions and attempting to pull one of the teens into his van, according to Suffolk Police.
Marwan Hanna, 59, was driving his 1997 Ford van on Main Street in Babylon on Aug. 22 at 7:15 p.m. when he followed a 14-year-old girl, police said.
Hanna was then confronted by a good Samaritan and fled the scene.

On Sept. 7, he followed another 14-year-old girl in the parking lot of 501 Montauk Highway in West Babylon on September 7 at 3:15 p.m., police said.

Hanna approached the girl and asked if she wanted a ride, police said. He then demanded she get into the van and tried to grab the girl but she was able to escape, police said.

Following an investigation by First Precinct Crime Section officers, Hanna was arrested at his home on America Avenue on September 18 at 10:30 p.m., police said.
He was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
