Man Robs Suffolk County Bank
BREAKING: The robbery occurred Thursday afternoon. Surveillance photos released of the robber.
BABYLON, NY – Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Babylon Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the man entered the Capital One bank located 8 Little East Neck Road at about 3:45 p.m., approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot in a westerly direction.
The robber was described as a white, about 5-foot-7 with a medium build, and between 25 and 30-years-old. He had a scruffy blond beard and was wearing dark basketball shorts, a dark-colored hooded jacket, large black sunglasses and a dark-colored baseball hat with yellow writing and yellow oak leaves on the brim.

The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
