Motorcyclist 'Seriously Injured' In Babylon Crash: Suffolk Police
The bike collided with an SUV on East Main Street just after 5 p.m., and the man was transported to a local hospital, police said.

BABYLON, NY — A man riding a motorcycle was seriously injured in a collision with an SUV in Babylon Village on Thursday night, Suffolk County police said.
Police said the motorcycle collided with the SUV at the intersection of East Main Street and Cooper Street just after 5 p.m. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with "serious but non-life-threatening injuries," police said. The man who was driving the SUV was not injured, according to police.
Police did not immediately release the identity of either man.

The blocked-off crash scene was just down the road from the Chamber of Commerce's Block Party on Deer Park Avenue, which was partially closed for the event. Rush-hour traffic was backed up as motorists tried to navigate the village.
Detectives from the 1st Squad are continuing to investigate, a police spokeswoman said.
