N. Babylon Woman Arrested After Robbery Outside Bar

A 25-year-old North Babylon woman is charged with third degree robbery following an incident outside a North Babylon bar last Friday night, police said.

According to police, a man standing outside Nite Cap, located at 765 Deer Park Avenue, had his necklace ripped off his neck by a female acquaintance at 10:15 p.m. Friday.

Lauren Regula was identified as the suspect and arrested a few hours later, police said.

Regula was arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday. She is being held on $2,000 bail and is due back in court on Thursday.
