Neighbors Start Online Fundraiser for Babylon Residents Who Lost Home to Fire
Local residents also lost their beloved dog in Saturday fire.
The Babylon community is rallying for Matt Vitale and Victor Cardinali, local residents whose home was destroyed by a fire on Saturday.
A GoFundMe online fundraiser has raised more than $2,250 so far toward a $10,000 goal to help the pair recover.

On Saturday, January 10, 2015 neighbors and friends of Strong Avenue watched in disbelief as flames ripped through the home of our newest residents. Matt Vitale and Victor Cardinali had recently joined our tight knit Babylon community in August 2014, only to have their first home destroyed by a devastating fire. They lost everything, including Piper, their beloved Wheaten Terrier. Please lend your support, as we “Stay Strong” for our neighbors. Thank you.
