Non-Profit To Install Commemorative Bricks Around Bayman Statue
Residents will now have the chance to purchase a personalized brick to go around the local landmark installed in 2018.

BABYLON, NY — The Babylon Beautification Society is giving residents the opportunity to be commemorated in the village forever. The group is selling commemorative bricks to be installed around the Bayman Statue on Bayman Park.
The statue was installed two years ago and dedicated to the Village of Babylon. The statue is an homage to the clamming industry that was a huge part of the village and to those who worked on the Great South Bay for hundreds of years.

This project was a group effort, made possible by the Bayman Statue Steering Committee and the Babylon Historical and Preservation Society, as well as a grant from the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation.
