Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck In West Babylon
The 71-year-old was hit by a car while crossing Route 109 on Thursday morning.

WEST BABYLON, NY - Police are investigating a crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in West Babylon on Thursday morning.
Donald Moses, 71, of West Babylon was walking on southbound Route 109 near Great East Neck Road, when he was struck by a southbound 2017 Chevrolet Cruz at 4:20 a.m.
Moses was transported by West Babylon Rescue to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 61-year-old Anthony Giordano, of West Babylon was not injured.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
