Police Seeking Help Finding Man Missing Since 2015

BABYLON, NY - Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a 60-year-old man who went missing in 2015.

Mark Baranek was last seen at World II, an adult entertainment store on 92 Kean Street in West Babylon, on August 11, 2015.

Baranek, a manager at the store, often lived there.

He was last seen wearing a blue NY Giants football sweatshirt, a tan vest and blue jeans.

He is 5-foot-8 and weighed 140 pounds at the time he went missing.

Baranek has resided in the Babylon area for most of his adult life.

The family initially did not want media attention, but are now requesting the public’s assistance.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 911, the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452, or anonymously to Crime Stoppers 1-800-220-TIPS.
