Police Seeking Man Who Tried To Rob West Babylon Gas Station At Gunpoint

He fled in a Jeep Wrangler after the attempted robbery last month. Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who tried to rob a West Babylon gas station last month.

According to police, the man pictured above displayed a gun and demanded money from an employee at the BP station located at 367 Sunrise Highway on Aug. 10 around 9:50 p.m.

The man fled with no proceeds. The man, who is about 6-feet tall, fled in a four-door Jeep Wrangler, police said.
