Road Rage Brawl Hospitalizes Man On Long Island: Police
A man was run over and hospitalized after a road rage incident turned into a parking lot brawl in West Babylon on Saturday, police say.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A road-rage brawl in West Babylon hospitalized a man with serious injuries on Saturday, Suffolk County police said.
After two men engaged in a road rage incident, they drove their vehicles into the parking lot of a strip mall located at 90 Route 109 around 8:10 p.m., police said.
According to police, the men got out of their vehicles and engaged in an altercation.

One of them, later identified as Patrick Loughlin, 37, of Babylon, got back into his vehicle, rammed it into the other man's vehicle three times, and then ran over the other man before fleeing the scene, police said.
The 51-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

Loughlin was arrested on Sunday around 11 p.m. and charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and third-degree criminal mischief, police said. He was held overnight and is slated to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday, police said.
