Santapogue Elementary Students Visit School Pumpkin Patch

West Babylon kindergarten students discovered pumpkins sitting inside the Santapogue Elementary School courtyard and used the bright orange gourds for science lessons.

This fall, they learned about the properties of pumpkins by studying the importance of their vines, the lines of longitude on their exteriors and the squishy pulp inside.
