Save The Great South Bay to Host "Keeping Long Island Beautiful" Speaker Series

A conversation on how together we can all keep Long Island beautiful.

OAKDALE, NY — Save The Great South Bay is bringing together some of Long Island's leading environmental advocates, municipal officials, and community organizations for a collaborative discussion on how to make our communities cleaner, healthier, and more resilient.

The "Keeping Long Island Beautiful: Uniting Efforts to Clean, Restore, and Steward Our Island" Speaker Series will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at The View, 3 Consuelo Place in Oakdale.

The interactive forum will feature a moderated panel discussion followed by an open audience conversation focused on sharing successful cleanup initiatives, strengthening partnerships, coordinating volunteer efforts, and identifying new opportunities for collaboration across Long Island.

The discussion will be moderated by Theresa Block of Sonas Integrative Strategies.

The event is designed for municipal leaders, public works departments, educators, environmental nonprofits, civic associations, businesses, and volunteers who are passionate about protecting and enhancing Long Island's communities.

A suggested donation of $25 will support Save The Great South Bay's education and stewardship programs.
