Senior Dog Surpasses 1 Year At Babylon Animal Shelter
Bindi is a black and white pit bull terrier mix who came to the shelter "wagging her tail." Will you be her forever home?

BABYLON, NY — A senior dog at the Babylon Animal Shelter is marking an unfortunate milestone.
Bindi, a ten-year-old black and white pit bull terrier, and the shelter's Pet Of the Week, passed her one-year anniversary without a home on Saturday. She arrived at the shelter on May 21, 2021.

"Bindi came in to us wagging her tail. She can be vocal and pushy, but hey, girl power."
Bindi loves to play fetch. If she can get two or three fetch items in her mouth at the same time, the shelter writes, then even better.

The senior dog has been very stressed in the shelter environment and she seeks a home as the only pet, the shelter said.
"Bindi would love to spend her golden years with love and of course a ball," one volunteer said.
