Suffolk Police Seeking Person Who Fired Shots At Car In Babylon

On July 16, an unknown person fired shots at a white BMW in Babylon Village, according to detectives.

BABYLON, NY – The Suffolk County Police Department is asking for the public's help to find the person who fired shots from a vehicle in Babylon Village last Friday.

According to detectives from the First Squad, an unknown person in a silver Hyundai fired shots at a white BMW at the corner of Virginia Road and Sumpwams Place on July 16. The incident happened around 2 p.m.

There were no injuries reported but Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are asking the public to help identify the person, who is being sought for reckless endangerment.

The silver Hyundai had multiple passengers inside, according to police.
