Teacher Of The Week: Mr. Tim Kahler

WEST BABYLON, NY - Everybody has a favorite teacher — maybe it's a teacher who went out of their way to make one student's day or a teacher who brightens up a classroom every day.

One teacher who deserves a shout-out is Mr. Tim Kahler, a teacher at Forest Avenue Elementary School in West Babylon. He was nominated as this week's Teacher of the Week by Tracy Ann.

Here's what Tracy had to say about Mr. Kahler:

My daughter struggled in school until the 3rd grade. Mr. Kahler has left an incredible impact on my child's heart and education. My daughter was diagnosed with a learning disability while in Mr. Kahler's class. Mr. Kahler worked with our daughter and went above and beyond to build her confidence and guide her in a path to where she rarely second guesses herself.Mr. Kahler makes school fun and is very loved by many children. Mr. Kahler is most definitely worthy of this nomination. West Babylon is blessed to have such a wonderful teacher and role model in their district along with many others.
