Timelapse Captures Sandy Flooding Babylon
A local user on YouTube used his camera to capture Hurricane Sandy's floodwaters rush from the bay.
Hurricane Sandy knocked the power out – but she obviously did not go undocumented. Among the thousands of videos popping up from residents throughout the tristate area, this one from YouTube user kentchemistry was taken from a window facing the Great South Bay in Babylon Village.
In the video, the storm surge is seen rushing into a canal as the Robert Moses Bridge stands through the storm in the background.
