On Sunday, October 8, Town of Babylon will be hosting a Long Island Benefit Concert in partnership with the Babylon Fire Chief’s Association and Masonic Suffolk District to host a local concert with an array of musical talent, including Mike DelGudice and Big Shot, to raise money for the hurricane relief effort. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the American Red Cross to further aid hurricane relief efforts in Florida, Texas, and Puerto Rico following some of most severe and historic hurricanes to affect the United States.
The Town of Babylon is hosting this event, which is $10 per adult and free for children, to show support for the storms’ victims as the effects and devastation of Superstorm Sandy can still be felt five years later on many parts of the south shore of Long Island. For more information or if you are unable to attend but would still like to make a contribution, please visit: www.townofbabylon.com.
