West Babylon Science Olympiad Winners Head to Regionals

Two Science Olympiad teams from West Babylon Senior High School competed at the annual invitational tournament at Islip High School on Dec. 10.

Sixty high school teams from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut competed in 25 various science events.

The following West Babylon students placed in their respective events: Eric Donohue and Trevor Barrett, second place in Write It, Do It; Matt Reyes and Ryan O’Sullivan, third place in Optics; and Hailey Santana and Kasey Sherwood, sixth place in Forensics. These students will now compete in the regional event on Jan. 28.
