Kathleen Gennings was selected to the New York State School Music Association's All-State Festival in the mixed chorus.

West Babylon Senior High School 12th grader Kathleen Gennings was selected to the New York State School Music Association’s All-State Festival in the mixed chorus (alto 1). Since last year’s festival was canceled due to the pandemic, this year’s All-State musicians were selected based on the evaluation scores and comments from the spring 2019 NYSSMA assessment, along with detailed teacher recommendations.

The 2020 NYSSMA All-State Festival will be run virtually. Each student will prepare and record their assigned part and master audio technicians will put all of the individual recordings together for digital performance.
