West Babylon Student Wins Town Poster Contest
Middle schooler Reese Walsh was chosen as the winner of the "Littering is Trashy" contest.

WEST BABYLON, NY — A West Babylon student is being recognized for her artistic abilities.
West Babylon Junior High School seventh grader Reese Walsh was selected as a winner of the “Littering is Trashy” poster contest, sponsored by the Town of Babylon, the school district said in a release.
Reese was recognized at a ceremony at Town Hall on Tuesday by Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly, Town of Babylon Councilman Terence McSweeney, West Babylon Junior High School art chairperson Caitlin Alfano and Town of Babylon Director of Beautification Viscel Moore.

Her poster was chosen earlier this year to be printed out and made into a sign that was placed around the Town of Babylon. The sign is located at the Chelsea Avenue and Claremont Avenue intersection of Little East Neck Road, in front of the municipal parking lot and West Babylon sign.
