West Babylon Students Collect Food for the Needy

Students at West Babylon’s Santapogue Elementary School displayed their generosity during the school’s first Can Can food day.

This monthly activity encourages students to donate non-perishable food items for the community’s needy families. The students brought in canned foods, boxed pasta and rice, and an assortment of cereal for the first food drive of the 2014-15 school year. Everyone who contributed felt excited about being able to contribute to those less fortunate.
