West Babylon Track Stars Capture First

The West Babylon varsity girls track team recently participated in the Red Raider Relays at North Rockland High School. The meet includes teams from all over New York State.

West Babylon’s Brittany Korsah broke the 22-year-old meet record for the 400m dash. She reached the finals in the event and won the final heat in a time of 55.29 seconds. Korsah is currently ranked first in New York State for the event.

The 4x400m relay team – Nadine Keefer, Brittany Korsah, Nadja Ashley and Dana Beggins – also captured first place with a time of 3:58.18, the second fastest time in meet history.
