Sept. 8 was the official kickoff for the 2020-2021 school year in West Babylon. While this school year will look a bit different, students and staff were eager to start the new year, either in-person or virtually.

As the buses pulled into the schools, staff, faculty and administrators were on hand to welcome students. They toted their backpacks filled with supplies and kindergartners navigated through the hallways to settle into their classrooms. The incoming sixth and ninth grade students also became acquainted with their new buildings. Many students reconnected with old friends and classmates as they settled into the school day.
