West Babylon Wrestler Qualifies for International Event

A senior at West Babylon High School is looking for your help to represent our area at an international wrestling competition.

Steven Lee is currently raising funds to compete against some of the world's top wrestlers in Australia this July at the 24th Annual Down Under Sports Tournament. The tournament features a series of competitions representing a dozen sports during July 2013.

Lee is already a decorated athlete for the West Babylon Eagles Wrestling team. Since he started wrestling, he has earned 3 All-League honors, 2 League Championships, a Suffolk County Finalist, New York State Qualifer and placed fifth at the Eastern Nationals, "War at The Shore."

Lee, also an honor roll student and Student Council member, however, needs more help to get to the competition in Australia.
