NORTH BABYLON, NY — Check your tickets! The New York Lottery announced on Friday that a winning ticket worth over $30,000 was sold in North Babylon this week.

The top-prize winning ticket was sold for the Feb 12 TAKE 5 drawing at a local gas station on 310 Bay Shore Road. The prize was worth a total of $30,374.50.

In addition, a second winning ticket was sold on Long Island at a deli in Roosevelt.

Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. Drawings take place every evening at 11:21 p.m. Winning tickets at all prize levels may be cashed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
