Woman Injured By Falling Road Sign In West Babylon: Police
The sign was struck by a vehicle involved in a crash and fell, hitting a pedestrian, according to Suffolk County police.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A woman was injured Friday by a falling road sign, according to police.
The incident occurred around 6:10 p.m. following a two-car crash on Route 109 in West Babylon, Suffolk County police said. One of the vehicles hit the sign, which fell and struck the woman, a pedestrian who suffered minor injuries, according to police.
The occupants of the cars were not hurt, police said.
