17-Year-Old Shot In North Bay Shore: Police
A second person who was standing near the boy was grazed, according to police.
NORTH BAY SHORE, NY — A 17-year-old was injured in an overnight shooting in North Bay Shore, according to police.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight Sunday in the area of Pine Acres Boulevard and Benton Place, police said.
The teen was struck twice and taken to a hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to police. A male acquaintance of the boy who had been standing next to him at the time of the shooting was grazed by a bullet but refused medical attention, police said.
