Drugs, Weapons Seized From LI Home; 2 Charged: PD

Two men were arrested and charged Saturday after officers seized numerous drugs and weapons from their home, police say.

BAY SHORE, NY — Two men were arrested and charged Saturday morning after officers seized numerous drugs and weapons from their Bay Shore home, Suffolk County Police said.

Henry Mulligan, 30, of Bay Shore, was charged with third-degree, fourth-degree and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Sayvon Douglas, 20, of Bay Shore, was charged with nine counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and three counts of criminal possession of a firearm, police said.

According to police, officers executed a search warrant at the men's Manatuck Blvd. residence at about 5:40 a.m. Crack cocaine, Oxycodone, two assault weapons, one handgun and six high capacity magazines were seized, police said.

Mulligan and Douglas were held at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday.
