2 Men Wanted After South Shore Mall Scare: PD
An initial report, which was later found to be untrue, said that shots were fired in the store, police say.

BAY SHORE, NY —Suffolk County Police are investigating a criminal mischief that occurred in a Bay Shore store on Tuesday.
Two men entered Macy’s, located in the South Shore Mall, and damaged a jewelry counter at 4:06 p.m, police said. The suspects fled without proceeds, police said.
The initial report was of shots fired at the location; a short time later, it was determined no shots were fired, police said.
