Man, 24, Killed In Stabbing: PD

BAY SHORE, NY — A 24-year-old man died after being stabbed in a fight in Bay Shore Friday morning, Suffolk County Police said.

Third Precinct police officers responded to a report of a stabbing on Walbridge Avenue at 12:05 a.m. The victim, Anthony Gilbert, was stabbed during a fight in the street, police said.

Gilbert, 24, of Bay Shore, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.
