3 Firefighters, 2 Residents Hurt In Baywood House Fire: Report

BAYWOOD, NY — Multiple injures were reported after a fire broke out at a Baywood home Sunday night.

Suffolk County Police Arson Section detectives are investigating the blaze that occurred at 9:35 p.m. at a home on Berrywood Court in Baywood, which borders Brentwood, North Bay Shore and Deer Park.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

According to a News12 report, firefighters battled the blaze for two hours and four people were displaced as a result.

Five people, including two firefighters, were hurt in the fire, News12 reports.
