Coyle’s Ice Cream Opens New Bay Shore Main Street Shop

BAY SHORE, NY — A longtime Bay Shore ice cream shop is expanding with a new location in the heart of the downtown.

Coyle’s Ice Cream said on social media that its newest shop will open at noon on Friday, July 10, at 17 E. Main St.

The location will remain open until midnight Fridays through Sundays, according to the business.

The opening expands Coyle’s footprint to four Long Island shops.

The new storefront will be Coyle’s second Bay Shore location. Its longtime shop is at 75 Howells Road. The business also operates locations at 539 Main St. in Islip and 189 S. Wellwood Ave. in Lindenhurst.

Coyle’s, founded in Bay Shore in 1985, serves more than 60 flavors of homemade ice cream, along with custom cakes, sundaes, shakes and other desserts. The company says its ice cream is made in-house using traditional recipes and locally sourced ingredients.
