Police say he'd been repeatedly driving past her home, and investigators are asking anyone with information or similar experiences to contact the Sixth Precinct Crime Unit.
• From postpartum walks to 100+ moms, Motherhood Moves finds its stride (greaterlongisland.com) — A growing moms' fitness and support community called Motherhood Moves has been holding popup workouts at Nicky's on the Bay in Bay Shore, giving local mothers a way to exercise, socialize and find support. Founded by Sayville educator Nicole Garcia, the group now tops 100 members, offering multiple weekly classes, virtual options, meetups and partnerships with family-focused local businesses.
• Bay Shore Dealer Admits Supplying Crack To 14-Year-Old Sex Trafficking Victim In Plea Deal (dailyvoice.com) — A 64-year-old Bay Shore man has admitted to child endangerment for giving crack cocaine to a 14-year-old sex trafficking victim and will receive a 364-day jail term under a plea deal, according to reports. He also faces a separate seven-year sentence in a drug case, stemming from a broader investigation into the teen's 2024 disappearance and exploitation on a yacht in Islip.
