Arson Detectives After Burning Stack Of Vehicles At Scrap Yard In Suffolk Spreads To Neighboring Property: PD

BAY SHORE, NY — Suffolk County Police Arson Squad detectives are investigating the cause of the fire at a scrap metal yard in Bay Shore that spread to two transit vans at a neighboring property, a spokesperson said Sunday.

First responders were called to the Moffitt Boulevard location just after 12 p.m. for a 911 call about a damaged stack of vehicles, according to police.
