Bay Shore Brewery To Host Dog 'Adopt-A-Thon'

BAY SHORE, NY — If you go out for a drink this weekend, you may come home with your new best friend.

Destination Unknown Beer Company, located at 1 S Chicago Avenue in Bay Shore, is hosting its "Adopt-A-Thon Event" on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6p.m.

The event is in partnership with New York Bully Crew, a non-profit organization which focuses on finding forever homes for pit-bull mixes.

Many adoptable dogs will be available, said the brewery on its Facebook page. All adoptions will include $150 in gifts, such as a Bully Crew Shirt, a bag of V-Dog food, and a bag of CBD pet treats.

New York Bully Crew is also in need of volunteers to bring adoptable dogs to the event and to make raffle basket donations.
