Bay Shore Dunkin' Reopening With Free Treats, $3K Charity Donation

BAY SHORE, NY — A newly remodeled Dunkin' and Baskin-Robbins in Bay Shore will celebrate its grand reopening Wednesday, Oct. 28, with free coffee, donuts, discounted ice cream and giveaways.

The restaurant, located at 529 E. Main St., will offer guests a free medium hot or iced coffee and a donut from noon to 2 p.m., while supplies last. No purchase is necessary, and the offer is limited to one per guest.

During the same two-hour period, customers can purchase a single scoop of Baskin-Robbins ice cream for 31 cents, a nod to the brand's 31 flavors. The offer is limited to one scoop per guest.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to spin a prize wheel for free Dunkin' merchandise, while supplies last.

As part of the celebration, Dunkin' franchisee Metro Franchising will present a $3,000 donation to The Viscardi Center in partnership with the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation.

The Viscardi Center is a nonprofit organization that provides educational, employment and independent living opportunities for children, adults and veterans with disabilities and similar needs.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and check presentation are scheduled for 1 p.m.

The 2,100-square-foot restaurant employs 20 crew members and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The remodeled location features Dunkin's next-generation store design, including an updated interior, modern espresso machines and a tap system serving eight cold beverages, such as iced coffee, iced tea, cold brew and nitro cold brew.

The restaurant also incorporates Dunkin's DD Green Achievement design, which the company says is intended to reduce energy consumption by 25 percent compared with a standard Dunkin' restaurant.

The grand reopening offers are available exclusively at the Bay Shore location on Oct. 28.
