The annual overnight celebration will feature performances, cookie previews, and the debut of a new rocky road-inspired cookie.

BAY SHORE, NY — The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County will launch the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Season with its annual late-night celebration, “Cookiepalooza,” on Friday, Jan. 16, at the South Shore Mall.
The overnight event will run from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the mall, located at 1701 Sunrise Highway, and is designed to energize and prepare Girl Scouts for their upcoming cookie sales while celebrating creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurship.
Cookiepalooza features a variety of activities focused on the five essential skills girls build through the cookie program: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. Highlights include a “Girl Scouts Got Talent” showcase, where finalists will perform original Girl Scout Cookie songs, along with cookie previews, creative snack stations, and hands-on media activities.
