Dead Cat Found Hanging From Shed In Suffolk: SPCA

BAY SHORE/BRENTWOOD, NY - A cat was found dead hanging from a shed in the Bay Shore/Brentwood area recently, the Suffolk County SPCA announced on Thursday.
On March 29 Suffolk County Police were contacted by a local resident who discovered the remains of the female cat found hanging from a shed on Michigan Avenue.
It is still unknown exactly how the cat died. A veterinarian will be performing tests to determine the cause of death.

"We can use the public's help. The Suffolk County SPCA is highly motivated to find those who are responsible for this heinous act," Suffolk County SPCA Chief Roy Gross said. "The investigation continues as we follow up leads and conduct interviews. "
The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for this blatant act of animal cruelty.
