Drunken Driver Crashed Pickup Truck Into Parked Car: Police

BRENTWOOD, NY — A Bay Shore man was arrested for driving drunk and crashing his pickup truck into a parked car in front of Brentwood home on Monday night, according to Suffolk Police. Luis Real, 56, was driving a 2005 Dodge pickup truck southbound on Crooked Hill Road, between Pilgrim Road and St. Peters Drive, when he lost control of the vehicle, police said.

He crashed into a car parked in front of a home on Crooked Hill Road at 11:25 p.m., police said. No injuries were reported. Real was charged with DWI. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
