Garage Of Bay Shore Home Found Fully Engulfed In Flames: FD

BAY SHORE, NY - A detached garage was found fully engulfed in flames in Bay Shore on Wednesday night, according to the Bay Shore Fire Department.
The blaze was reported at a S. Penataquit Avenue home at 11:18 p.m.
Firefighters were on their way back from assisting at a Deer Park house fire when they received the call for the fire.

Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire to the garage with little damage to the home from the heat.
No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed.
The Bay Shore Brightwaters Rescue Ambulance, Suffolk County Police, Islip Town Fire Marshals office, Town of Islip HazMat and a Town of Islip Building Inspector were all on the scene as well.
