Homeless Teen Slashes Person With Box Cutter: Police

The 19-year-old slashed a person during a dispute at the Bay Shore train station Monday morning, police say.

BAY SHORE, NY - A 19-year-old homeless man was arrested after slashing someone with a box cutter at the Bay Shore Long Island Rail Road Station Monday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

During a dispute with another person in the parking lot of the train station at 9:42 a.m., Quran Abdul-Qadir slashed someone in the hand with the box cutter, police said.

He was arrested and charged with second degree assault, police said.
