Suffolk Woman Embezzled $1 Million: Police
She was employed as a bookkeeper and was accused of embezzling money for roughly 4-and-a-half years, police say.
BAY SHORE, NY — An Islip Terrace woman accused of embezzling more than $1 million was arrested on Tuesday, Suffolk police said.
Domenica Giordano, 37, embezzled the funds between Sept. 1, 2015, and May 31, 2020, while she was employed as a bookkeeper at All Systems Maintenance in Bay Shore, police said. Giordano was charged with first-degree grand larceny: value more than $1 million.
