Man Claims Suffolk Police Officer Racially Profiled, Beat Him
The 20-year-old described an experience from January when an undercover cop allegedly targeted and beat him and a friend.

BAY SHORE, NY - A college student is claiming he and his friend were racially profiled and beaten by an undercover police officer while driving in Bay Shore back in January, according to a PIX11 report.
The scene occurred on Union Boulevard and Aletta Place at about 12:23 a.m. when a 20-year-old driver noticed he was being followed by an unmarked car, PIX11 reports.
He called 911 but the car was soon surrounded by several police cars and the driver, who is black, claims the officer used racially slurs, punched him in the face, slammed him into the car, and handcuffed him, according to the report.

The driver, who was with with a white friend and a Hispanic friend, also claims that the officer went inside the car and beat the Hispanic man as well, according to the report.
No arrests were made.

Police have not yet released a comment at press time.
One local resident on Facebook announced that she plans to address the incident during a community meeting with 3rd Precinct police that is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Bay Shore.
