BAY SHORE, NY — A motorcyclist who suffered serious injuries on Sunday in a crash has died, Suffolk County Police said.

Victor Nigro, 65, of Bay Shore, was riding a 2021 KTM Motorcycle in the parking lot of Gardiner Manor Elementary School, located at 125 Wohseepee Drive, at 2:42 p.m., when he lost control of the motorcycle, police said.

Nigro was taken to South Shore University Hospital for treatment, and sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead on Tuesday, police said.
