New Bed And Breakfast Opens At Historic Bay Shore Property
Take a look inside Bay Shore's first ever B&B.

BAY SHORE, NY - Bay Shore's first ever bed and breakfast recently opened just in time for the summer.
The Ocean Bay House, located on 69 Ocean Avenue, officially opened its doors on May 18.
The historic home was renovated into a 9 room B&B situated on the Watchogue Creek, across from the Fire Island Ferries.

The property was originally a carriage house for the Prospect House built in 1870, according to the Bay Shore Historical Society.
The home was destroyed in a fire in 1903 but the carriage house remained.

Owner Colleen McGrath announced the opening of the business on Facebook.
"It has been a long, lonely and tiring journey, but now we look forward to pursuing our dreams and vision for this grand Bed and Breakfast," the post on Facebook read.
